March is Women’s History Month, and March 8th is International Women’s Day, which is celebrated throughout the world. UUCW is also involved in these events by dedicating Sunday March 9th as the Women’s Service. 

Entitled Honoring Women, we will take time to recognize the extraordinary work women and men do to keep this place flourishing., especially older women.

We will also have a participatory event in which congregants  name a woman to honor, and then those responses are magically turned into  a congregational poem through the creative talents of Kye Flannery. It promises to be a wild ride, so join us on March 9th!
