Come Join Our Get-Out-the-Vote Team
on Sunday, May 15th ~ During Coffee Hour
We’ll be launching our letter-writing campaign in preparation for the November midterm elections.
That’s when voters will be choosing congressional representatives and key state officials such as governors and attorney generals.
Our team will be working with VoteForward, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that focuses on engaging marginalized populations in under-represented communities to vote.
Our outreach is especially vital this year to help educate citizens about voting legislation that recently passed in their states that might restrict their voting eligibility and access to the polls.
Join our effort to encourage participation in the democratic process by writing a letter.
The letters are preformatted with a space for you to write a personal non-partisan message about WHY YOU VOTE.
Learn how to use the VoteForward platform from your home computer to send letters yourself. You can also participate by donating printing paper, envelopes, or stamps. (eye-catching, no flags) – Please bring with you to church on May 15th.
