Are you ready to make some more Good Trouble? Postcards with Center for Common Ground/Reclaim Our Vote are here for sending to voters in Georgia in advance of their Congressional primary. A very dynamic Black woman, Octavia Coleman, Leader of the Central Georgia Democracy Center, is running against a career politician for the newly drawn 13th Congressional District on the Democratic ticket. This is one reason that we are focusing on educating voters in Georgia about this election and how to be ready to cast their ballot.
Vickie Cox-Lanyon has organized supplies. If you would like a batch of 10-30 postcards, please contact Vickie at . We’ve got plenty of time because they are due to be put in the mail April 22-May 9.
Please help us write postcards during coffee hour in Fellowship Hall on March 10th. Check out this information page and video for more details: https://www.centerforcommonground.org/postcarding#postcard-get-ready
If you want to help in other ways, donations of stamps and money to buy letter-writing and other supplies are always appreciated. A donation box will be in the foyer on most Sundays.
Thank you for all you do to help Get Out the Vote! AND DON’T FORGET TO CAST YOUR OWN BALLOT IN THE MARCH 5 PRIMARY! Drop off your mail-in ballot or vote in person. Everything you need to know about voting is here.
