Sunday, October 16, 2-5 pm: Massachusetts Interfaith Power and Light and Worcester Congregations for Climate and Environmental Justice invite you to Love.Earth.Justice.: A Multi-faith Service of Prayer, Celebration, and Resolve. We will gather at First Unitarian Church in Worcester at 90 Main Street to celebrate creation and community, mourn all we have lost, and call each other to faithful action. The worship service will lift up prayer, song, and reflection from diverse faith traditions, including a sermon from Rev. Vernon Walker, executive director of CREW: Communities Responding to Extreme Weather. Following the service, we will take part in workshops teaching key skills of climate action and resilience. The event will also be remote-accessible.
