Let’s make some more GOOD TROUBLE!
We continue to offer opportunities during coffee hour to put your faith into action and help communicate voting information to BIPOC communities in states with voter suppression and be prepared yourself to vote in Massachusetts.
October 6th, join a phonebank with our UU partners in Northampton and Florence, USNF, at 6:30 PM, making calls to Georgia using the PDI platform and tools from Reclaim Our Vote/Center for Common Ground. Training will be provided and all you need is to be able to join zoom and make calls from your computer browser.
Sign up here and a zoom link will be sent to you separately. Contact me for further information.
October 9th, we will be writing letters to infrequent voters as volunteers of Vote Forward, to states with a history of voter suppression. You don’t write the whole letter; mostly a statement about why you vote. Please take time to write out a letter or two or learn how you can print out a packet you can work on from home. If you will be joining worship services by zoom, contact me for how you can take action from home.
Coming up, we will have information on Referendums 1 and 4 and how to help others register to vote and/or update your own registration.
Help protect our democracy. Here is a list of events and activities–what you can do to make a difference.
Thank you to those who helped write postcards during coffee hour and especially folks who took some home!
