UUCW Get Out The Vote Team News for April 5, 2022 – Postcard Project Events, April 6 and April 10.

Help the Get Out the Vote Team write postcards to Black voters in Georgia to empower more people to vote in their primary election.  Join us on Wednesday, April 6th at 1:30 or April 10th during/after coffee hour in Fellowship Hall.  Read more:

Help send postcards to Georgia in advance of their primary election on May 24th with instructions on how to vote early.  This is the first election since districts were redrawn and restrictive voting rules were put into place making it more difficult to vote.  Please help overcome voter suppression with help Getting out the Vote.  We have 500 postcards to send out and can use more hands on deck.  

  • Join our postcard writing party Wednesday, April 6th, 1:30-2:30, Fellowship Hall after Lunch with the Minister
  • Join our postcard writing party Sunday, April 10th, during/after coffee hour, Fellowship Hall
  • Grab a set of postcards to write at home.
  • Donate some postcard stamps (no flags, please)

Postcards are due to be mailed between April 15-25,  Put your faith into action by Getting Out the Vote!
