UUCW’s Side With Love Taskforce wants to share updates from UU MassAction’s monthly newsletter to put you in touch with local and statewide opportunities to actively participate in social Justice actions and events.
UUMass Action is a state action network, organizing the 20,000 Unitarian Universalists and 142 congregations in Massachusetts to confront oppression. They provide many opportunities to get involved in targeted social justice happenings. Some of them may only take a few minutes, while others may be a bit more time consuming.
They host monthly Action Hours, regional networking groups, and an Annual Advocacy Day. The next annual Advocacy Day is Tuesday April 12th. You can meet with your representatives and senators to give your best elevator speech about why you believe a bill should/shouldn’t be passed. Let them hear your passionate plea for issues you care deeply about. Click here to find out more information and register by March 30th.
Let your voice speak out for justice! Also, contributions for Ukraine relief can be sent to the UU Service Committee at the UUA.

See you next month with UU Mass Action!
