Each month the LGBT Asylum Task Force holds a community dinner for asylum seekers and interested members of the wider community.  Different groups take turns making the dinner and then staying to meet asylum seekers if they wish.  We have done this in the past and it was very fun and rewarding.  It involves cooking dinner for 30 – 50 people – either at our church or at your home and then taking it over to Hadwen Park Church where the dinner is held.  The next dinner that’s open is Monday, November 8 and it lasts from 6 – 7:30.
