The Health & Safety Team met last week to discuss ongoing plans for the Spring, Summer and Fall. It is the teams recommendation that we continue remote-only services through April. A large reception tent has been ordered and will be at the church by early April. Once it is put together it is the Team’s hope that we will transition in May to hybrid services outside. This would mean that those attending in person would continue to wear masks and maintain social distancing. The services would be broadcast over Zoom and Facebook Live from the tent. Religious Exploration plans on beginning an outdoor curriculum in May as well.
In addition, the H&S Team recommends that May 1st we begin to reopen the building for small group use with capacity limits for the lounge (12) , classrooms (6) and Fellowship Hall (25) and tent (30). Those using the facility will continue to observe COVID-19 protocols including wearing face masks, social distancing, and disinfecting the room used following their meeting. At this time the City of Worcester still restricts food service during events.
Those wishing to schedule use of the building should contact the Office Administrator () as soon as possible to schedule space. Please note that space is only available for pre-scheduled use.
