You may be wondering what these words have to do with the Pantry. It is time for me to give up being the Co-Coordinator of the Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. In my ten years of being at the Pantry, I have learned a lot. It has been very rewarding. And, the Pantry is in very good shape with volunteers, money, etc. It is time for someone else to bring their talents to bear.
Marilyn Martin will be spearheading the Church’s efforts along with long-time Co-Coordinator, Betsy Wood, Denise Darrigrand and Linda Morse. Marilyn is excited about her new role. Things will, no doubt, run a little differently. However, the main mission of the Pantry, to make certain that people in our area have enough food on their plate will never change.
