The Health & Safety Team met again in late May and has reaffirmed its recommendation to the Board of Management that UUCW worship services be held remotely through the remainder of the 2019-20 Church Year (end of June 2020). As part of a phased reopening plan, we are beginning to open the building for small, in-person gatherings in the classrooms, fellowship hall, and the sanctuary chancel beginning June 1.
The Summer Services Planning Team has recommended that Summer Services be held remotely with the caveat we will allow Sunday Service Presenters who want to facilitate the service from Fellowship Hall and make space for a small group to gather. The Health & Safety Team is monitoring changes in protocol by the state and local authorities and will make updated recommendations to the Board and congregation in the coming weeks.
Members and friends continue to be invited to gather for an informal check-in via ZOOM with Rev. Cheryl Leshay on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm and will continue to do so at least through the end of July.
